Most activist and medical news breaks on mailing lists these days. Printed
magazines (like Interaction and Perspectives in the UK, or The CFIDS
Chronicle in America) then run selected stories in their next issue. If you
want to get the raw, unedited news live as it happens (albeit along with
a fair measure of activists' personal rants and other twaddle), then you have
to be not only online, but on the major mailing lists. So here they are:
To subscribe to Co-Cure, send an email with the command SUBSCRIBE CO-CURE YourFirstName YourLastName to the listserver at: listserv@listserv.nodak.edu
To subscribe to the list itself, send an email with the command SUB CFS-NEWS Yourfirstname Yourlastname to listserv@maelstrom.stjohns.edu
To subscribe to Unify, click here .
To subscribe to Sasyfras, send a message to: listserv@home.ease.lsoft.com that says: subscribe Sasyfras Yourfirstname Yourlastname
She also has an activist list called CFIDSME-Activist, which is relatively quiet. To subscribe to this list, click here.
There is also a friendly and quite busy chat list called MEchat. To subscribe, visit MEchat's own homepage - just click here.
Last but not least, there's a newsgroup called uk.people.support.cfs-me for general discussion. You can drop in and have a look at recent postings to this group by clicking here.
